CenturyLink Buys DataGardens

CenturyLink said today that it has acquired disaster recovery provider and technology developer Datagardens, whose service is used to protect the servers of corporate customers. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. DataGardens is based in Edmonton, Alberta, and will be managed out of CenturyLink's Bellevue-based cloud services office. DataGardens' service lets customers quickly fail over their production servers to the public cloud.
