Cozy Courts Landlords, Renters With Free Service

Portland-based Cozy, the developer of an online service to make it easier for landlords and renters to deal with collecting and paying rent, is hoping to attract more landlords to the service by making the service completely free. The company recently rolled out free access to the service, which automatically collects rents for landlords, and helps renters by providing proof of their on-time rent payments. Cozy looks to help renters overcome doubtful landlords assessing their ability to pay rent on time, when looking for a new place to live. Cozy said it hopes to create a site which offers something similar to a "LinkedIn profile for renters"
