Symform's Cloud Storage Service, Team Acquired By Quantum
The cloud storage services platform and team from Seattle-based Symform, have been acquired by storage device maker Quantum Corp., Quantum said Thursday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to Quantum, it has hired Symform's development team, including CTO and co-founder Bassam Tabbara, to help it build out its cloud services capabilities and offerings. Symform had been founded in 2008, and had received a total of $20M in investment from such investors as OVP, Longworth Capital, and WestRiver Capital.
