UIEvolution Debuts New Platform For Auto Market

Seattle-based UIEvolution, which develops user interface and automotive telematics products, has rolled out a new platform aimed at in-vehicle entertainment. The company said it has released UIE CloudConnect, an in-vehicle "infotainment" platform which links users to content and third party apps. The company said the new product includes service middleware, smartphone applications, and a "content aggregation framework" aimed at the connected car market and auto manufacturers. Pricing on the new platform was not announced.
