Itron Scores Deployment Win In France

Liberty Lake, Washington-based smart utility meter maker Itron has scored another, international win, saying today that it has won Gaz reseau Distribution France (GrDF), the main natural gas utility in France. Financial impact of the deal were not announced. Itron said the deal calls for the installation of up to 3.7 million, smart gas meters for the natural gas utility. The contract covers installation of those meters between 2016 and 2022.
