Sparq Acquired By Yahoo

Seattle-based mobile marketing firm Sparq has been acquired by Yahoo, the company said Tuesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. As part of the funding, Sparq said it will be terminating its existing service. No other details of the shutdown were announced. Sparq's service had been focused on increasing mobile app engagement and downloads.
