Juno Lands Massive $120M Round For Cancer Research

Seattle-based Juno Therapeutics has raised an astounding, $120M in a Series A funding round today, to go towards the launch of a new company to develop immunotherapies for cancer. The startup--spun out of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), along with Seattle Children's Research Institute, said the funding came from ARCH Venture Partners and the Alaska Permanent Fund, along with others.
