Wire Labs Lands $1.8M

Seattle-based Wire Labs, a developer of mobile messaging apps, said today that it has raised $1.8M for the company. The funding came from Vulcan Capital, Spencer Rascoff (Zillow), Erik Blachford (Expedia), Owen Van Natta (Facebook), Rudy Gadre (Facebook), Mike Slade (Second Avenue Partners), Brian Ma (Decide.com); and Bruce Jaffe, Hank Vigitl and Fritz Lanman (all from Microsoft); as well as many others. The company was founded by Piragash Velummylum and Jordan Timmerman, both formerly at Amazon.com
