Zillow Opens Office In Nebraska

Seattle-based real estate information site Zillow said last week that it has opened up a brand new office in Lincoln, Nebraska, as a result of the acquisition of Mortech, a provider of software for mortgage lenders. According to Zillow, the new office is in the midst of the tech region called the "Silicon Prairie". The company officially opened the office in September, and will house more than 50 employees. Zillow acquired Mortech last November, for its automated quoting, lead management, and mortgage lock tools. Zillow said it is also hiring in the location; the company already looks to have expanded significantly from when it acquired Mortech, when Mortech had only 39 employees.
