F5 Buys Versafe

Seattle-based Internet traffic shaping products company F5 announced today that it has acquired Versafe, a developer of network-based anti-fraud, anti-phishing, and anti-malware products. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Versafe was based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The company's products had used F5's network devices as part of its subscription-based, security service.
