Opscode Powers Wanelo

Seattle-based Opscode, which develops cloud infrastructure management software, is powering the operations for online shopping community Wanelo, Opscode said today. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. Opscode said that Wanelo has been automating its Joyent cloud infrastructure using its software, Enterprise Chef. Opscode's software is used to automate the configuration of cloud-based servers. Wanelo operates an online community focused on consumer desires and wants.
