Tagboard Gets $2M For Hashtag Search, Management Software

If you're at all connected into social media, you're very familiar with hashtags--those keywords, indicated by #hashtag--used by users to indicate different topics. A new, Seattle startup, Tagboard, is looking to make it easier to track and understand trends in those hashtags, through the launch of its service--and $2M in seed funding. According to Tagboard, the new funding comes from "prominent" angel investors. Names of those investors were not announced. Tagboard was founded by Josh Decker, Tim Shimotakahara and Sean Sperte. More information »
