ECOVA Powers Green Button Effort For California Utility

Spokane-based Ecova, which provides energy and sustainability management services to business clients, is joining the White House "Green Button" effort, the firm announced recently, and is helping with San Diego Gas & Electric to connect commercial customers to its metering dashboard. Ecova said its product now incorporates smart meter data from SDG&E, to help businesses view their energy use. Ecova's dashboards will be available to SDG&E's customers in May. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed by the companies.
