Amazon Buys Book Community Goodreads

Seattle-based Amazon.com said Thursday afternoon that it has acquired Goodreads, an online book review community based in San Francisco. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Goodreads was founded in 2007 by Otis Chandler, and venture backed by True Ventures along with angels Mike Jones, James Currier, Michael Birch, Chris Michel, and Stan Chudnovsky.
