Lawsuit By Actress Against IMDB To Go To Trial

A lawsuit filed by an actress against IMDB, the movie site owned by Amazon.com, over posting her birthday on the site, can go to trial, according to a ruling this week. IMDB, the database of information on movies, actors, producers, directors, and others which is now owned by Amazon.com, apparently posted the actresses true birthday -- a sore point in the world of Hollywood, which is known for its age discrimination against actors and actresses -- and was later sued, after refusing to remove that information from IMDB.
