Spiral Genetics Takes $3M For DNA Analysis Software

Seattle-based Spiral Gentics, a developer of cloud-based, bioinformatics software for DNA analysis, said Tuesday that it has raised $3M in a funding round. The round was led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Spiral Geenetics is led by Adina Mangubat, and provides its clustered, pipelined bioinformatics software to researchers, offloading genteic analysis computing tasks. More information »
