Rover.com Ties With Video Creation Site Animoto

Seattle-based Rover.com, the online marketplace for dog sitters, has inked a deal to provide dog owners with videos of their dogs, via video creation and sharing site Animoto. Rover.com said that it will provide free videos of dogs to owners during their stay, via Animoto's service, which creates videos out of pictures, video clips, and more.

Rover said that, as part of the partnership, sitters who submit sufficient photos of their "canine guest" will be able to provide the animated and personalized videos to the dog's owner. Rover also has kicked off a promotion to let any dog owner who signs up with the service to create their own Valentine's themed music video with their dog. Rover.com is headed by Aaron Easterly.
