Cheezburger Network Raises $5M

Seattle-based Cheezburger Network, the online humor and meme site headed by Ben Huh, has raised $5M in new funding. The new funding was revealed via an SEC filing over the holidays. Cheezburger is backed by Foundry Group, Madrona Venture Group, and Avalon Ventures.The company has now raised a total of $37M in funding, $30M of which came in its last round in January of 2011.
