VendScreen Raises $15.4
Portland-based VendScreen, the developer of a device which attaches to vending machines to receive payments, provide ads, and other information, has raised $15.4M in a funding round, the firm said earlier this week. The company, which is led by Paresh Patel, said the funding round included $8.4M in a Series B funding, and a commitment for another $7M. The funding came from 3x5 Special Opportunity Fund and Merrickhanna Ventures. VendScreen's devices, which are based on Android, are touch-sensitive screens which display nutritional information, accept payments, display ads, and more. More information »
