Trover Debuts Desktop Photo Uploader

Seattle-based mobile travel and photography app developer Trover announced this morning that it has launched a new, desktop PC and Mac software tool called Desktop Photo Uploader. Trover said the new tool helps its members share their images and locations from a PC, and is particularly handy for sharing photos taken with larger cameras. Previously, Trover only supported photo uploads from a smartphone. Trover said it believes the new tool will increase the posting rate of its members, and also make the tool more interesting to photographers using high end cameras. Trover is venture backed by General Catalyst Partners, Ignition Partners and Benchmark Capital.
