RealNetworks Names aQuantive Cofounder Galgon To Board
Seattle-based RealNetworks said this morning that it has named Michael T. Galgon, co-founder of aQuantive, to its board of directors. Galgon helped co-found aQuantive in 1997, and was there until its purchase by Microsoft in 2007. He then served as Chief Advertising Strategist at Microsoft unil January of 2009. RealNetworks' Glaser said that Galgon is "one of the more accomplished technology entrepreneurs in Seattle's history" and that he would help revitalize RealNetworks.
