Qumulo Snags $24.5M For Enterprise Storage
Seattle-based Qumulo said today that it has raised $24.5M in a Series A funding, for its enterprise storage efforts. The funding was led by Highland Capital, and also included Madrona Venture Group and Valhalla Partners. Qumulo's founders are out of Isilon. CEO Peter Godman was Isilon's Director of Software Engineering and former CEO of Corensic, and Qumulto's CTO is Aaron Passey, former Chief Architect at Isilon and CTO at Clustrix. VP Engineering Neal Fachan was at Isilon and Amazon, and VP Product Management Jeff Cobb was at Wily Technology/CA. Peter Bell of Highland Partners joins the company's board with the funding round.
