Elemental Taps Isilon's Sujal Patel For Board

Portland-based Elemental Technologies said this morning that it has added Sujal Patel, the founder of Isilon Systems, to its board of directors. Elemental develops video encoding and transcoding hardware, used to convert video content in real time to different formats. Elemental said that Patel replaces Bob Greenberg on its board. Patel sold Isilon Systems to EMC for $2.25 billion in 2010. Patel also sits on the board of ExtraHop Networks.
