PopCap Cuts 96 Jobs In Ireland

Seattle-based PopCap said it has laid off 96 staff in Dublin, Ireland, following an earlier, announced layoff in North America announced August 21st. PopCap said it has decided to entirely close the offices in Dublin, Ireland. PopCap explained last month that it was cutting its staff, due to a shift in the gaming market from casual games towards free, social and mobile games.
