Parallels Snags Apple Vet For Board
Renton-based Parallels, the developer of desktop virtualization and cloud services software, said early this morning that it has snagged an Apple vet for its board of directors. Parallels said it has added Bertrand Serlet, the former Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at Apple, for its board. Bertrand headed up Apple's Mac OS X development from inception until leaving Apple in 2011. He also had served at NeXT, and was a researcher at Xerox PARC. Parallels said Serlet's advice will help it accelerate its growth.
