F5 Launches Security, Vulnerability Assessment Service

Seattle-based F5 Networks said today that it is expanding its service to the security and vulnerability assessment market, via a partnership with security testing partners Cenzic and WhiteHat Security. F5 said it will offer enterprise organizations with free application vulnerability assessment scans, designed to help companies accelerate their adoption of F5's mitigation services. F5 current BIG-IP web firewall products provide automatic mitigation of vulnerabilities such as those detected by application vulnerability management scans.
