doxo Launches Mobile Payment App For Android

Seattle-based doxo, the electronic bill payment and storage service headed by Steve Shivers, has launched onto Android, saying last night that it has launched a new app for the platform which allows users to pay their bills from their mobile phone. The Android app, which complements its existing iPhone app, includes a feature the company calls doxoPay, which allow users to receive and pay their bills from their smartphone and tablets. doxo said the new app allows users to connect with service providers such as AT&T, Sprint, Puget Sound Energy, Kansas City Power and Light, Sound Community Bank, Oregon Federal Credit Union, receiving their bills for payment and storage on its service. The new app is free.
