Tango Card Launches Gifts For Teachers

Seattle-based Tango Card, the startup which allows users to purchase flexible gift cards for recipients, is targeting parents with a new product, the firm said Monday. The company, which is headed by David Leeds, said its new product, the Tango Card Teacher Gift, is specifically aimed at parents giving gift cards to teachers in a sign of appreciation. Tango Card said it will handle collecting contributions for classrooms, allowing users to include messages and pictures, which are then delivered to the teacher. Tango Card's service allows teachers to then redeem their dollars in chunks with specific retailers of their choice, including Amazon.com, Target, Starbucks, and others.
