Ticketmaster Sets Up Shop In Seattle
Ticketmaster, the online ticketing service, said today that it is hoping to tap into Seattle's "excellent" local talent pool to find software development engineers, product managers, test engineers, development managers, and others, and has set up shop in Pioneer Square. The firm--which is a unit of Live Nation Entertainment--said it has selected Cameron Etezadi, formerly of Amazon and Microsoft, and Werner Koepf, formerly of Amazon and Expedia, to head up the new office in the city. The firm did not say how many people it plans to hire in Seattle, however, did say it is like "many other California high tech companies" who are finding the area appealing due to its local talent pool
