Angel Oregon Invests $344,000 In Firms

The Oregon Entrepreneurs Network awarded $344,000 in investments this week, after unveiling the winners of its Angel Oregon 2012 investment competition. According to the OEN, the winner of the competition was Chez Gourmet from Marie, a health food company which makes veggie burgers, which scored the top, $250,000 angel investment prize; Tellagence, a developer of social analytics software for social networks, will receive $94,000 in an investment. The group said it had nearly 40 companies compete this year for the investments, with winners selected by a panel of 57 angel investors.
