Rumblefish Passes One Million Songs
Portland-based Rumblefish, the online music licensing site which helps people license music for their social media videos and games, reported last week that it now has more than one million songs in its catalog, and also that over five million videos have used soundtracks from its service. Rumblefish said the number of songs in its catalog doubled from 500,000 in 2011 to more than one million songs as of last week. Rumblefish helps people legally license the use of popular music tracks in their social media applications via the site Friendly Music. The company is headed by Paul Anthony.
