Concur Enhances Software For Pharmaceuticals, Medical Firms

Redmond-based Concur, the provider of travel and expense management tools, reported today that it has enhanced its platform, to comply with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Sunshine Act). Concur said it has enhanced its product to help pharmaceutical, medical device and medical supply companies track expenses related to marketing to physicians and teaching hospitals, part of the requirements of the new law. Concur's corporate customers, across a wide range of industries, use its software to track travel and expense reimbursement. The firm said healthcare customers who benefit from the new features include AdvantageMS, Healthcare Data Solutions, MedPro Systems, Porzio Pharmaceutical Services and R-Squared.
