Likewise Acquired By EMC Isilon

Bellevue-based Likewise, the developer of storage software headed by Barry Crist, has been acquired by EMC's Isilon Storage Division. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Likewise, which was venture backed by Ignition Partners, Trinity Ventures, and Intel Capital, developed cross platform storage software aimed at OEMs. The firm's software was being used for building network attached storage devices. Likewise was originally known as Centeris.
