Ecova Gets Industry Accreditation

Spokane-based Ecova, the provider of energy and sustainability management software and services, reported Thursday that it has gained accreditation from an industry group, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). The firm said the accreditation covers validation of its data and tools for reporting greenhouse gas emissions from its customers. The Carbon Disclosure Project is a non-profit which sets carbon disclosure methodology and process standards. Ecova is headed by Jeff Heggedahl, and is a subsidiary of Avista Corp.
