Pirq Lands AAA Washington

Kirkland-based Pirq, the developer of smartphone apps providing location-based deals and discounts, said today that it has partnered with AAA Washington, to give AAA members in the state access to its deals. The company--which is headed by James Sun--said the move will give AAA Washington members in the greater Puget Sound region with instant savings at more than 150 restaurants. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Pirq's app runs on the iPhone and Android, and gives users instant access to discounts at local restaurants. Sun is best known for his role on The Apprentice.
