Cadence Biomedical Lands $750K

Seattle-based Cadence Biomedical, a developer of an early stage medical device to help people with disabilities to walk, has raised $750,000 in a funding, according to lead investor HealthTech Capital. HealthTech said it invested over $300,000 in the Series A2 round, which also included the Alliance of Angels, Frontier Angels, Keiretsu Forum Northwest, Sand Hill Angels, and Wings. HealthTech said the firm expects to raise at least $1M in the round from additional investors. Cadence is led by Brian Glaister, and develops a device which helps those with severe disabilities to walk. More information »
