PayScale Hits 2000 Corporate Customers, Rolls New Software
Seattle-based PayScale, the online salary and benefits information site which lets you peek at what people are getting paid, reported today that it has now signed up 2,000 customers, and also launched a new version of its product for midmarket companies. The firm offers up a subscription service to those customers, allowing them to tap into its database to figure out appropriate market salaries for current and potential employees. The firm said its Insight tool includes a "Raise Recommender" which helps companies allocate a pool of money across multiple departments, based on business objectives. The new tool also helps HR departments pinpoint employees who are getting paid far above mraket averages, and well below market salary ranges. PayScale's clients include Zappos, HealthSouth, Volunteers of America and Manpower.
