Korrio Links With Concussion Safety Tool

Seattle-based Korrio, the online youth sports team communications tool developer backed by Ignition Partners, said this morning that it is targeting one of the serious health concerns in youth sports, concussions. Korrio said it has tied with health assessments provider Axon Sports, to include a concussion management tool it its service. The tool is used to assess cognitive function of players, to reduce risk of player injuries and to identify undiagnosed head trauma. Korrio said it will run a pilot program of the cognitive testing during spring soccer season, with the Seattle United, Sudbury Youth Soccer and Massachusetts Youth Soccer Olympic Development Programs.
