T-Mobile Links With Google Music
Bellevue-based T-Mobile USA has linked with Google Music, Google's new online and Android-linked music service, and will be allowing subscribers to the service to pay for purchases on the Google Music store via their phone bill. In a big push for T-Mobile, the wireless carrier said that it will be featuring free, exclusive Google Music content, which it will be providing to its customers using Android 2.2 or above smartphones. Google launched its cloud music service yesterday, including streaming of music to PCs and Android phones, the ability to purchase music from the Android Market, and more. The new music service not only competes with the many, music streaming services out there, but goes head to head with Apple's iTunes store.
