TriQuint Gets Green Label From Huawei

Hillsboro, Oregon-based TriQuint, the developer of RF and other semiconductors, reports today that it has been recognized for its environmental management system and green business practices by its partner Huawei. TriQuint said it has received the "Huawei Green Partner" award for its environmental management system and manufacturing. The firms said that Huawei certifies its suppliers via an on-site audit, to ensure that partners eliminate banned or controlled hazardous materials, use environmentally friendly materials, and develop environmental audits and action plans.
