AmazonLocal Hits New York City

Seattle-based Amazon.com has rolled out its AmazonLocal, deals marketplace service to New York City, the firm said Thursday morning, bringing the total number of markets being covered by the service to 30. Amazon launched AmazonLocal in Boise, Idaho in June, and since then has been extending out its daily deals site to other cities. Major markets covered by the service now include New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Seattle.
