Bing Launches New Social App

Microsoft's Bing said Thursday that it has released a new, social app for the Windows Phone called "We're In", targeted at helping people organize activities with friends. Bing said the new app is geared at organizing get-togethers, carpooling, and more, and also includes ways to find other users via a map. The app is similar to Google's Latitude app, which also lets users see where their friends are. Bing's new app allows users to invite friends to the service, see where they are on a map, and handle confirmations for event attendance, among other features.
