Sandlot Games Acquired By Digital Chocolate

Bothell-based Sandlot Games, the developer of casual gaming titles Cake Mania, Super Granny, Tradewinds, and Westward, has been acquired by fellow game maker Digital Chocolate. According to Digital Chocolate, it is acquiring Sandlot Games to gain access to more developers and grow faster. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Digital Chocolate is headed by Trip Hawkins.
