Amazon In New Expansion In North Dakota
Seattle-based Amazon.com is continuing its expansion plans, saying today that it is expanding its customer service center in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The e-commerce giant said the expansion will great more than 200 full-time jobs, plus "hundreds" of seasonal jobs at the facility by the end of 2012. Amazon appears to be on a major expansion push nationwide, having just announced a major expansion of its fulfillment center in Tennesse on Monday, expansion in Arizona last week, and major plans for expansion in Sumner, Washington, the first week of May. Those expansions come on top of announced plans for hiring at its fulfillment centers in Arizona, Delaware, Kansas, Kentucky, and Nevada in April.
