Itron Wins Ottawa

Liberty Lake, Washington-based smart utility meter firm Itron said Friday that it has scored a win at the City of Ottawa. Itron said the Canadian city has signed a contract to deploy its smart water metering technology. The deal includes 210,000 smart water modules, fixed network two-way communications infrastructure and software, plus other data management software and related services. Financial details of the win were not announced.
