Colocation Firm Opens Portland Site

ViaWest, a Denver-based colocation, hosting, and managed services firm, said Thursday that it has opened up a new data center in Portland. The new data center is the firm's second data center in the region. ViaWest said its new Hillsboro II data center brings its total data center space in Portland to 35,000 square feet of raised floor space. ViaWest says it has a total of 450,000 square feet of raised floor space across 21 data centers.
