VoiceBox Wins TomTom

Bellevue-based VoiceBox Technologies, the developer of voice recognition software, said yesterday that it has been selected by GPS and navigation provider TomTom. VoiceBox said TomTom's GO and VIA Series in the US both use the firm's technology for recognizing requests. voiceBox allows users to speak their request for addresses and commands. Financial details of the win were not disclosed.
