HomePipe Gets $1.1M
Seattle-based HomePipe, a developer of digital content sharing services, said Tuesday afternoon that it has raised $1.1M in a Series A funding round. The round came from a group of angel investors. The firm said the funding will go towards product enhancements and accelerating its subscriber base. HopePipe is headed by Chris Hopen, former co-founder and CTo of Aventail. HomePipe operates a service which allows users to access photos, videos, presentations, and documents from their Apple iPhone or iPad, Google Android, Web browser, or Windows Phone 7.
