Powerit Solutions Raises $5M

Seattle-based Powerit Solutions, a provider of energy management technology for the smart grid market, said yesterday that it has raised $5M in a new funding round. The round was led by Black Coral Capital, and also included its four existing investors. As part of the funding, the firm said it has named Matthew J. Schiltz as its group CEO. Schiltz also joins the company's board. Schiltz was previously the President and CEO of DocuSign. More information »
