Tyfone Powers iPhone Accessory, Links With BPO Firm

Portland-based Tyfone, the developer of mobile payment products, announced two deals today. The first is an an effort with Dexim, a manufacturer of smartphone accessories, where its microSD technology to provide iPhone users with mobile, contactless payment capability. The second is a distribution deal with business process ousourcing firm Sutherland Global Services, around implementation of Tyfone's products in the financial services area. Financial details of the two deals were not announced. Tyfone is a provider of near field communications (NFC) technology for mobile payments.
